Good food... Very overpriced but TERRIBLE service! Large party with reservations. It appeared they had ONE server on the night before July 4th!! Had to wait 30 min just to get our drinks. No one checked if we needed refills. Forgot one of our party"s entrees completely. Never saw a manager to apologize for the Terrible service and missteps! Inexcusable!

Stopped there for a late lunch. Wasn't impressed. The service left a lot to be desired. The wait for the food was 40 minutes and that was for a chicken sandwich and a salad. The food wasn't anything to write home about either. I've had worse, but I wouldn't bother coming back.

We came for lunch on a Tuesday in September and got a seat straight away. We ordered the bacon wrapped scallops for starter followed by Angus Burger and the prime rib sliders. Our server bought out our mains which was a surprise given we had ordered a starter. When i mentioned this she went off and another lady (owner/manager maybe) came out and apologised that she had forgot to request them from the kitchen. She did say that she would get them done straight away and I told her not to worry but she was insistent and told us they would be on the house.....I'm glad she did as they were so good. She was really nice about the whole thing. The food only took about 10-15 mins to come out but as I said it wasn't very busy. There is a sign up saying that they are not a fast food restaurant and that they cook to order..... The service was great. Sherri was really pleasant and made us welcome. I guess maybe we were lucky because we came out of season but I would definitely come back in the future...as long as it wasnt too busy.
(4)Jill C.
The service was friendly and knowledgable. The oysters were good. The chowder tasted too much like corn starch. The trout was very good but the broccolini was over done. The lava cake tastes like a hostess cupcake. It was worth s try. We went because they advertised live music. However, it was one boy playing a guitar too loudly. We'll try another next time.

Found a fly in my shrimp scampi... Need I say more? Oh wait... The manager said he'd comp the dish, but not only did he forget to do so, he added a 10% gratuity to the bill.
(1)David N.
Very slow. We had to wait awhile for a table, and then a long time for food, even though this was a Thursday lunch and there were not a lot of people inside. People are in after us and still were served before us. Food was not very fresh and was overpriced. BBQ was out of a can. Gratuity was automatically added on at 20% also. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Very nice location, especially in the courtyard, all though a knowledgable individual quickly realizes the structures creating the courtyard are designed to look like they were part of the original "train stop town" but were actually built within the last decade. Very friendly staff. The food was abysmal! This restaurant is advertised as "upscale dinning" and the prices certainly reflect that nomenclature, however the establishment certainly does not live up to the claim. We ordered the bacon wrapped scallops, which were served completely raw (both scallops and bacon), our server was very professional about us sending them back, however when the dish was re-served, we got the original scallops back (which we had cut in to) rather than a new order, and it was obvious they had just shoved them under a hot broiler for 3 minutes (honestly, still a bit under cooked). We also split one of their pizzas... I was in one of those moods when you're really up for a great local gourmet pizza... The pizza arrived cold to the touch, the crust was soggy and wilted (basically an Elios pizza), the cheese was definitely not "fresh mozzarella" as advertised, and the toppings were of very poor quality. The drinks were amply poured and reasonably priced, and the live music was enjoyable. I'm very glad my Wife and I had light appetites when we dined here, and did not go all out on steaks or seafood, because I would have been very displeased to drop $200 on what comes out of their kitchen! Much better options available in Blue Ridge.
(2)Bill H.
To get in here on a Saturday evening, we had to take a 5:30 reservation, but we were seated out in the eponymous courtyard and soon enough there was live music which we enjoyed along with a couple of cocktails. The menu looked good enough to order everything, but we both settled on seafood, which was cooked and presented well. Our server was attentive despite the busy night. I recommend reservations, especially during the summer, and come prepared for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience in old Blue Ridge.

Surprised that this place has an 3 star rating. I went with a group of 7 and it is a group consensus that this place gave us the worst dining experience we have ever had. When we got there, they told us there would be a 20 minute wait. While we waited, we went to the bar to order a drink and the bartender was rude and not helpful. Over an hour later, we got seated. The waitress was either an idiot or drunk, or both. When trying to order a glass of wine, she tried to convince me I didn't want the one I ordered and to get a more expensive one. We ordered an app but then it took her about 30 minutes to find us all silverware. It ended up being over a three hour meal. The food was fine, but not near worth what we paid. A piece of advice, go down the street to Chesters. The food, service, and atmosphere was all great.

Should have listened to the other reviews, but I was so hungry I didn't want to wander around looking for another place to eat. Came here at 2pm during high season. Took FOREVER to get our food. Ordered the lump crab salad and the crab cake sandwich. My sandwich was not satisfying. And my boyfriend (after leaving) said the crab "salad" was terrible (it's mostly crab with a handful of lettuce on top. Comes with toasted bread.) Before we were done eating, the lunch crowd disappeared... And so did our waitress. Finally we got our check and immediately gave our waitress our credit card and were on our way (to get a cupcake to cleanse my palette!) One positive: The waitress and staff was really friendly. Next time though, I'll dine at Harvest on Main next door.
(2)Cari B.
Horrible would be an understatement . Despite reading the bad reviews about this place we decide to give it a try. Bad mistake !! We started with the oyster rock and southwest rolls . The oysters where awful covered with what look and tasted like thousand island dressing , I couldn't even eat them . The southwest rolls were made of canned corn cheese whiz and canned black beans and canned tomatoes wrapped in a tortilla roll , it was gross . I also got the clam chowder and caesar salad . The chowder was oily for some reason with no flavor and the salad was slimy . The person dining with me ordered the meatloaf and said it was cold and less than mediocre . I left feeling as though I needed to go home and brush my teeth to get the horrible taste out of my mouth .
(1)Eva K.
Horrible! Chicken was chewy n disgusting, brought out prime rib sliders, after taking the chicken sandwich n salad off the bill, sliders had no taste! Overpriced dont waste your money!
(1)Jeff B.
Service was good, although not great...nice but not friendly or personal. Atmosphere was great - very nice decorations. Food was actually better than I had anticipated given the other reviews. Artichoke dip was not great.
(4)Lori B.
We were trying to eat at another restaurant and just lucked upon this one. The food and service were incredible. The waitress brought the kids food first without even having to be asked. The house dressing was delicious. Top notch all the way.

I literally just walked out of Christy Lee's and couldn't wait to get on my phone to write a review. This was hands down the worst dinner experience I've ever had. My family went to dinner for my sister's birthday. We made reservations here because all the other restaurants in Blue Ridge were booked. I should have taken that as a sign. Forty-five minutes into dinner we had our third waitress of the night and still had not received our appetizers or bread service. When we inquired about the bread service we were told that as soon as it came out of the oven, it would be delivered to our table. Twenty minutes later we asked the manager to get us bread. He brought two baskets out and then our waitress finally came out with the appetizers. As she was putting them on the table she said as soon as the bread is done I'll bring you some. I said we have two baskets on the table now. She said, "oh." An hour and 40 minutes into the meal, we still hadn't received our entrees. We asked the manager to find out when they would be out. He told us they would be out in two minutes. Ten minutes later we inquire again about our food. Everyone around us who had been seated after us was already paying their bill. The manager was unapologetic and told us the food would be out in two minutes. AGAIN! When we explained that he told us 10 minutes ago that it would be two minutes he just said let me check. About five minutes later our food finally came out. It was cold and so disgusting. The waitstaff kept giving us dirty looks. Everyone around us was complaining about their food. It could not have been a worse experience. To top it all off, the manager brought us our bill after we told him to take off the 20% gratuity that was added in and one of the entrees that was sent back because it was cold and gross. He told us he took it all off and I'm sure he didn't think we would look at the bill but we did and he hadn't taken anything off. We sent the bill back and over two hours after we got to the restaurant, we finally got to leave. Nothing was done for us. We paid $174 for crappy food and worse service. If this was the only place on the earth left to eat or I would starve and die, I would starve and die. I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to eat here. What a lousy Blue Ridge experience.

If you like good food at a reasonable price served up fresh and quick - try somewhere else.

My family has been to Blue Ridge several times but we had not eaten here until this trip. After tonight, I imagine it will be one of our "musts" every trip. We came for dinner around 8:30 pm on a Saturday night during an art festival weekend. Needless to say, Blue Ridge was packed with people. We sat outside in the courtyard and enjoyed a relaxing dinner with a fire pit and live music. The server, Chad, greeted us promptly and took excellent care of us. We went with all of his suggestions, and they were delicious. The filet didn't even need a steak knife and was cooked perfectly. The chicken picatta was also good. Even though it was crazy busy, the food and service was excellent. If it was this good on such a crazy night, I can only assume it is this good or better when it isn't a tourist packed weekend. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I recently vacationed in Blue Ridge, GA. We had a tight budget, so we allotted one night to go out for a nice dinner together. We decided on Christy Lee's. From the start I could tell things were not going right for the restaurant, in general. First of all, there was quite a wait for a table, even though several could be seen sitting empty. This problem was magnified by the hostess, who was attempting to keep track of all of the waiting customers on a tattered sheet of paper with names and info scrawled out on it in a sloppy manner. I waited twice as long as we were told we would have to (1 hour) and I eventually just bothered them enough to FORCE them to seat us. They sat us at one of the aforementioned tables which were sitting empty this whole time. Then we waited 30 minutes to have our order taken, rather begrudgingly I might add. From there it was an hour or so before we got our food. wow. This marks the 2 and a half hour mark of this experience and we have just gotten our food...which was cooked incorrectly. My medium steak was rare. The waiter said he did that on purpose so they could still re-fire it if I didn't like it that way. He told me it was easier for him this way. OK, well the staff seemed upset because I sent it back in to be re-fired to the desired cook temp. And they sent out another employee to ask why. I was polite and nice but she seemed annoyed with us. All the while, a man I presume to be the owner was going table to table greeting and checking up on customers. He never even looked at us once. He avoided us intentionally. That was OK with me, because he seemed like real jerk anyway. I counted 9 apologies from our waiter during our dinner (which ended up taking 3 hours and 20 minutes of total time spent in the restaurant). I am speechless and I do not think I have been treated in a worse manner ANYWHERE. Even though the food was edible and not microwaved, I am giving one star...JUST 'CAUSE. WOW. Eating in downtown Blue Ridge is risky business. Lesson learned.
(1)Ashlee S.
Service was good but we sat outside because they couldn't accommodate us inside and it was 30 degrees outside. We were patient but the service took much longer than it should have. When I got my food it was cold and unfavorable. Would not come here again.
(2)Amy A.
Rude. Insanely rude. Treated us like we were putting them out just by standing at the hostess stand, asking for a table. Walked out without ordering. Never coming back.
(1)Allen E.
Mixed bag. The calamari appetizer was delicious and the stuffed chicken was out if this world. The fried platter was solid, as were our bacon-wrapped scallops. The Caesar salad was ok but the dressing was a little strong. Our sides - mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, and French fries- were bland. Service was friendly but slow. I would go back again, but this is not my first choice in Blue Ridge.
(3)Sarah M.
Very poor service, expensive kids' meals that don't even include a drink, expensive adult meals for what you get and it took forever to get our food. I highly recommend Harvest on Main instead of going here. It's pretty comparable in price but SO MUCH better food and service.
(1)Lynn S.
I rented a cabin in Blueridge for the weekend to celebrate my fiance's birthday. The owner of the cabin recommended Christy Lee's so we tried it for dinner our first night. We LOVED everything about it. Our service was phenomenal. We couldn't believe how fast everything came out. As soon as we were finished with our appetizers, our entrees came out. Within minutes of ordering our cocktails, the server was bringing them to our table. We were very impressed. She also kept our water glasses full and was very attentive. At the end of the meal, the Executive Chef came out to check on us and see if we enjoyed our meal, which was much appreciated. We went on a Friday night and there was a live band on the patio that was very good. Two guys that sang some country, pop, oldies as well as some of their own original material. They were very interactive as well and got the crowd involved. We had a great time and will definitely be back next time we're in the area.
(5)Chase B.
I ordered the clam chowder and tuscan chicken and both were delicious. The chowder had clam chunks that tasted fresh and were in abundance. The chicken had very good flavors that blended together perfectly. Our waitress was very friendly and very helpful when it came to our questions on some of the different sauces used. My only complaint was the table size being a little on the small side but the environment was very warm and nice. All in all, my experience was wonderful and I will be returning when the chance comes.
(4)Kelsi R.
LOVED the stuffed chicken! The food was good and flavorful. They have porch sitting for this who want to share with flies. For everyone inside, I suggest closing the windows. Other than that, it was great, and we would certainly come back next time we travel to the area.
(4)Kim M.
This was the worst restaurant I've been to in a very long time. 3 of the 3 prime ribs we ordered were terrible. The bruschetta and even kids tenders were bad. We had a decent pizza bit that was it. The manager told is we had the best waitress but response was slow and when we had an issue she barely responded but walked away to get a manager. The good was also terribly overpriced.

I gave Christy Lee's a final chance to prove they could get it all right over the 2012 holiday season. Once again, I was EXTREMELY disappointed. I'm in Blue Ridge every weekend, and try to patronize all of the small town businesses. Unfortunately, there is always something that goes wrong at this restaurant. It's either the food or the service. This time it was the service; and not the the waitstaff. It was the manager, Pepper. To say she is awful and unaccommodating is an understatement. We were seated over an hour after our reservation time. She made no effort to make up for the unacceptable wait, and dismissed our requests to soften the annoyingly loud music once we were seated next to a busted speaker. Her smug, apathetic attitude may work for her... but I won't give it another chance. Christy Lee's is a NO GO!!!!!!!! Try these restaurants if you want to have a positive experience: Blue Ridge Brewery, Cucina Rustica or The Vine for a glass of wine. The staff at all of these businesses offer the southern hospitality you would expect in Georgia.
(1)Bryan H.
I don't know why this place has such horrible reviews. I'm not going to say it was the best food I've ever had, but I'm in Blue Ridge, Georgia...so....um ya. I had the filet (8 oz) which was plenty of meat for me and my wife had the salmon (a little on the dry side for my taste, but not to the point that I felt like I was eating chicken of the sea). I would say it was on the pricier side of things but I expected that. We also had the coconut shrimp appetizer which was pretty delicious. Given the options in this area I'd go here again.
(4)Anabel S.
Went to Christy Lee's for dinner with my boyfriend. We loved the food and received great service. We ordered the clam chowder, which I will order every time I go, I liked it that much! We also got oysters and escargot, both tasty. I ordered the prime rib, it was amazing! The staff was happy and friendly, our server Tracy was wonderful, very sweet and fun to talk to.
(5)Karen J.
Yuck! The very worst meal our group of 5 have ever had. Risotto was watery & crunchy, fries not cooked all the way , crab cakes dry with a lot of filler , even chicken sandwiches were over loaded with pepper, rotten tomatoes & wilted brown lettuce .orders all wrong , even after 3 tries. Couldn't even get our drinks right(coke & tea-really?)had to go to the "Sweet Shop" to get the taste out of our mouth!
(1)Zak K.
Just stopped by for a couple of drinks to kill some time. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. I cant comment on food, but a couple sitting on the pattio told us that it was fantastic.
(4)Christina S.
Nice atmosphere with outdoor dining and musicians on weekends. Have a drink, but don't eat there. The food is lousy and the staff is rude.
(1)Spin G.
If you find yourself enjoying Blue Ridge for the day or the weekend, you'll likely come across Christy Lee's and you'll be tempted to eat here. It looks like a nice place and had a pretty courtyard. Resist that temptation. To make a long story short: poor service and mediocre food. Prices are exorbitant for the quality.
(1)Wunelle E.
Great option for Blue Ridge! We were starvingggg and tried several eateries in the area for a late lunch and many seemed to close between lunch and dinner and nothing was open. Eventually, we came across Christy Lee's. Located in the bottom level of the courtyard on Main Street, we almost missed it. Thankfully, we did not. At 4pm on a Saturday afternoon, there were plenty of seats at the bar, we both ordered prime rib sliders..3 small sandwiches came with a cup of au jus that was the best I have tasted in a very long time. My friend had the flat bread pizza, smothered in cheese and fresh veggies...tried it, yum. Service at the bar was quick, bartender was very friendly. So glad we found it..full bar, great service, and delicious food. It's a keeper...hope it lasts!
(5)Timber W.
I wonder if this place had a change of management or hired new chefs. Luckily, my experience here was the complete antithesis of that of the other reviewers. I was seated immediately when I went inside. I sat with my back to the kitchen, facing the burnt sienna walls and the outdoor covered patio area. Upon each lacquered table top was a glass vase containing fresh flowers. There was also an interesting arrangement of ceiling tiles above the bar. I couldn't decide what to order. There were several tasty-looking appetizer options, but I finally settled on the porcini-crusted scallops. They came on a bed of spinach with blue cheese stuffed cherry tomatoes that also contained something spicy. There was a dollop of some kind of relish in the center of the plate. The scallops were cooked perfectly, but I think I would have enjoyed the appetizer more had it not been so spicy. For my lunch, I had the vegetarian wrap with a side of grilled vegetables. It was a spinach wrap stuffed with tomatoes, sprouts, carrots, and lettuce with some type of avocado sauce. The side contained onions, green beans, carrots, and squash and was a generous portion size. They tasted great but were a slightly salty. (They probably tasted so salty to me because I seldom add salt to my food.) When I was there, the service was quick and pleasant. My water glass was kept full, and the food was great. I'd like to go back and try the mussels and the shrimp po' boy...which would be perfect after a massage next door.
(4)Renee L.
Decent food, in experienced staff. Didn't know how to handle a busy holiday afternoon. Saw the manager and chef argue while waiting to be seated. Our waitress had a 6top next to us and ignored our table of 3. Food took forever. Had the tuna and goat cheese apps and the crab tower salad. Apps were better than salad.
(2)Jerry m.
The food was good, but way overpriced. simple as that.
(3)Anna B.
The food was not good. Fish frozen and over cooked. Crab cakes from a box frozen no taste. Salad don't bother. Over priced for what you get. You would be better off at Zaxbys.
(1)Stacie M.
Charming little place open in a town when very few places were open past 5 pm. We had the pleasure of being attended to by a very charming bartender who shared some lovely wines with us. We were then escorted to our table and sampled an array of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Our service was stellar and our waitress was attentive and friendly but not overly so. We enjoyed the Tuscan pasta...it's got a very Asian vibe. The lava cake was to die for. In the end, I'd say we would definitely pop in again when we're visiting this quaint little mountain town.
(4)Zach K.
Christy Lee's was a huge disappointment. The wine at least a dollar or two over priced and the menu was all talk and no go. Pretty much frozen sysco fare presented with little imagination or competance. The calamari was served with a luke warm pasty marinara - obviously canned - finished with a handful of cold pizza shop variety banana peppers. Add a sloppy presentation of supposed lobster bites with a sticky off the shelf Asian sauce and you will want to ask for the check and leave. The lemon slice and tiny tomato garnish was worse than amateur, it was uncaring. Bottom line, somewhere like chik fil a shows more competance in food and service. The atmosphere of Christy Lees can't make up for the over priced mediocrity.
(1)Shannon H.
Stopped in for lunch on Saturday seated right away. Ordered the onion rings. Little disappointed they were really greasy. But they had a good come back. I had the fish and chips it was a special. I was delicious! My husband had the Angus burger. It was cooked perfectly. Juicy and flavorful. Our experience was wonderful. Brittany was a very attentive waitress.
(4)Charity C.
We had a wonderful experience here! The music was wonderful and the environment was great. Not to mention the awesome staff! What a great place to go on an afternoon date. :)
(5)Nancy A.
Excellent menu! And the quality officiants outstanding! Service was great as well and prices are reasonable. I highly recommend and will return
(5)Heather B.
We had dinner reservations and were sat quickly within arriving. We ordered our child's food when we ordered our drinks so the food would come out first. It took 40 minutes for our kids food to come out. It took a total of 2 hours from seating to getting our check for dinner. Overall the food was good however not worth the $200 bill. The service was slow. Great for a special occasion but don't be in a hurry.
(3)Farrah B.
I'm surprised this has the rating it does! My experience at Christy Lee's was fantastic. I went with a couple of my friends and our server was great, very friendly and outgoing, checked up on us often, everything a good server should be. While we were going over the menu and talking, my friend was asking me what I could have on the menu with my eating habits; out server overheard us, came over, and said would talk to the chef about making a special vegan plate just for me. It was a sauteed veggie plate with rice cooked in a white win sauce, and it was awesome. I really appreciated that, because I hate to be "that guy." The owner (or manager, I'm not entirely sure), come over and chatted with us for a bit, and even gave us a discount! I also liked the atmosphere at the restaurant, it was semi-formal but not too stiff, and I would recommend this place when/if you're in the downtown Blue Ridge area, no doubt.
(4)Rodrigo M.
The food was amazing, we visited from miami for a weekend and did a little research about the restaurant in the area and we decided to give it a try and it was worth it. the waitress was very polite, funny, the drinks were good, even the owner of the restaurant , BRENDA LEE came to the table welcome us to her establishment asked us a few times if everything was alright, the bloody marry were great, and the famous Clam Chowder soup is to die for, truly delicious. highly recommend this restaurant.
(5)paulita b.
So I'll make this short and sweet. We payed 70$ for two meals, but it wasn't about the money, it was about the tasks we had to hurdle in order to eat here. A wait was quoted for 30 minutes, we waited 55. Our food took exactly one hour, and when it arrived my husbands steak was barely cooked. Admittedly after all this the meals were good, not nearly award winning enough to deal with what we went through. And note to the owners, award winning restaurants do NOT operate like this. Then there was this smarmy man (possibly the owner, definitely involved with the restaurant) walking around talking to each table, rubbing on some guests, with a cocktail in hand. I heard him laughing at customers saying "what, are you gonna go write a bad review about us". He looked over at us several times, but never offered his hospitality, as if we had been chosen as the outcasts. Some saving grace from being shunned is: receiving this treatment from this man is a serious compliment. Why? He resembled the jersey shore edition of the baron harkonen from David Lynch's Dune. We will never go back.
(2)Jean H.
Was here before and it was good, today service slow and food mediocre. It took forever for the food to come out. Avoid the baked goat cheese appetizer, bland, pretty tasteless actually. Caprese salad was ok. Service was super slow, thought we would never get our check. Much better choices in Blue Ridge
(2)Jessica J.
Do not come here hungry! Come here prepared to eat in about 90 mins or so from arrival. The place is beautiful and the food is delicious. But the wait time is grueling. Yes it is cooked to order which is great. Luckily we were with a big group and there was wifi so that helped. We had to ask for refills on the bread basket which came with a lovely mixture of flavored olive oil and vinegar for dipping. The staff kept telling us our food was almost ready but I'm pretty sure that's juSt something they always say. The staff was incredibly nice though and the owner came over and let the birthday girl in our party order a cocktail on the house. This was one of the few places open for a later dinner so I'm not sure what better options there are. The stuffed chicken was fantastic. The Tuscan chicken received rave reviews from my friends. The eggplant parm apparently had cinnamon in it which totally ruined the dish.
(3)Dave B.
The low ratings are not reflective of this fine restaurant. I dine all over the country and this place has it right. Well prepared food with great ownership. You must dine here if you are in Blue Ridge, GA. Highly recommended by friend and we were not disappointed. The filet was cooked perfectly and the trout was amazing.
